On the first look, Lady Winifred nullifies the benefits Freeks get from some dead characters, but she does the same to maluses too. Too bad that in 4ED there are mostly only bonuses.
On the other hand, she could use the dead to get quickly to the battlefield, and one more fighting body is always welcomed.
